Chef de Partie

A brilliant opportunity has opened up for a Chef de Partie to join our client, located in Malta, on a full time basis.

• Monday to Sunday
• 40 + Hours Per Week

The Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of menu items.

Duties will include:
• Planning menus and determining food and labour costs
• Discussing food prep issues with managers, dietitians and other staff
• Ordering food, kitchen supplies and equipment
• Demonstrating techniques to cooks and advising on cooking procedures
• Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
• Freezing and preserving foods
Experience and skills required:
• Must be a qualified Chef
• At least 6 months experience as a Chef de Partie in a Mediterranean Cuisine Restaurant
• Effective communication skills
