A star player in the FMCG industry is looking for a Distribution Manager to join its ever growing, dynamic team.
Responsibilities will include dealing with the day to day company’s distribution system in both Malta and Gozo, monitoring quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement of goods, whilst ensuring that the company’s distribution set-up is maximised in relation to customer service and operational cost.The chosen candidate will also need to lead the dispatch team, ensuring sales orders are processed and distributed in a timely manner together with the best route optimisation.
Addressing customer queries to ensure the best customer satisfaction whilst driving a safe working environment ensuring employee and food safety will also fall under your remit. Further to the above budgeting, managing expenses within budgets, developing cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality are also your responsibility.
You will have a proven track record in a similar distribution role within same industry. Excellent organisational, time management, decision making and leadership skills are necessary for this role.
