The Finance Executive’s primary role will be to assist the Finance team in monthly deliverables of financial reporting. The candidate will be tasked with day to day duties and will assist the Finance Manager in delivering timely reporting.
Main activities/key responsibilities:
Monthly preparation of reconciliations between company data and third party data
Monthly reconciliations for specific brands
Assist Finance Manager in closing off monthly reporting
Take ownership of given tasks with minimal supervision from Finance Manager
Liaise with third parties to gather information in a timely manner as per deadlines set
Liaise with internal departments to provide reports for financial reporting in a timely manner as per deadlines set
Ad-hoc reporting on various financial aspects as required by Finance Manager
Helping out other team members when needed
Extensive experience in a similar role
Previous experience in the iGaming industry would be considered an asset
Workign towards attaining a relevant qualification (ACCA, CAT, CIMA) etc.
Knowledge in the preparation of monthly financial accounts
Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Navision will be given preference but not a requirement
Proficiency with MS Office applications to include: PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel
Knowledge in creating analytical reporting using excel pivot tables
Fluency in both verbal and written English
Good analytical and technical skills including demonstrated experience identifying and quantifying problems and providing effective solutions
Excellent problem solving ability
Able to work independently with minimum supervision from manager
Able to deliver on time and meet the deadlines
Able to work within a growing team and be a people’s person
Achievement of quarterly and annual goals and objectives as agreed with Finance Manager.
Achievement of Company financial targets – Revenue & Contribution/EBIT.
Proven demonstration and promotion of company Culture and Value.
Reduce time to produce financial reports for own areas given by Finance Manager
Identify areas for improvement which are beneficial for company targets
Evaluate own areas to include in next year’s performance and company objectives
