Head of Legal

How about building the structure of the legal function at the world’s leading online casino affiliate operator, recently listed on Nasdaq First North with a market cap of over €200m? We are looking for a solution-oriented Head of Legal, willing to take initiative and work independently, advising the company’s officers and board members on all legal and regulatory matters.

Being Catena’s Head of Legal is more or less about building a strong legal function and overseeing all legal aspects of our business from an international perspective. You will be part of the management team and assist with legal advice of various kind to management team members and the board of directors. Initially, your main focus will be on M&A projects, but you will also manage less complex tasks such as handling administrative chores to contract preparations. You are always a team player, even though you work independently most of the time.

You will oversee all legal aspects of our business from an international perspective, and safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company follows law guidelines and give legal advice about all relevant issues. You will get the opportunity to build the structure of the legal function and work closely with the CEO and CFO. You will be working with a wide range of tasks of varying complexity. You will, for example, find yourself structuring transactions (acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures etc.) one day, to then be helping HR tailor a specific employment contract the day after.
