Residential Marketing Manager – Fixed

We would like to invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the role of Residential Marketing Manager – Fixed within the Marketing Department reporting to the Senior Manager- Marketing. The purpose of this role is to develop and drive the implementation of a marketing strategy to grow and achieve GO’s strategic objectives in Fixed Multiplay Services (Broadband, TV and Telephony). The aim is also to achieve company revenue and customer base growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

Market & Performance Analysis

  • To identify market need in order to drive strategy
  • To regularly report and track Fixed Multiplay segment revenue & customer base performance trends to continually seek inputs and feedback from GO’s sales team for implementing improvements and possible new offerings
  • To understand the competitive landscape and GO’s positioning.
  • To identify key competitors and their offering
  • Perform ongoing competitive benchmarking and propose timely reaction to new competitor launches to ensure competitiveness at all times
  • To provide recommendations based on the reporting and analysis on the way forward

Product Management

  • Measure and feedback Fixed Multiplay product results in terms of ROI and customer takeup monthly against pre-agreed KPIs and targets
  • Work with other team members and key stakeholders to find innovative and new products and execution
  • To take products through the company’s Product Development process to ensure they deliver an excellent Customer Experience
  • To actively participate, take inputs and provide direction in the company’s requirements definition process for developing new technical capabilities and reporting back to Commercial Management on any issues or workaround solutions as may be necessary
  • To define clear product adoption processes for the successful takeup of key offerings
  • To define, plan and drive CRM activities for increasing customer takeup & ARPU across all sales and communications channels
  • To ensure that the Sales function can sell these products effectively by making sure that collateral is available and that Sales & Customer Experience people have had access to adequate training

The ideal candidate must:

  • Possess a graduate qualification in any related Commercial, Marketing or Economics degree
  • Have 5 of experience in a managerial role
  • Have a strong telecoms or ICT background
  • Have strong commercial acumen and capable of in-depth numerical analysis & strategic thinking
  • Be confident presenter in sales and customer forums
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Possess good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Be a good team player
  • Be familiar with product development lifecycles
  • Be a dynamic, result-oriented individual with a can-do attitude
