Join an established and growing company in the fast-moving iGaming industry. This is one of the most dynamic and exciting sectors on the island of Malta. This position is for a Service Manager to drive the strategic direction of the IT Operations team while contributing to the business’ organisational objectives and ensuring a consistently high level of service to the company’s clients.

Collaborating closely with the Operation team, Service Management team and other people from across the organisation, as Service Manager you will empower the company to exceed its promises to its clients, putting in place the resources and skills to provide value-added services. This is a wide-ranging role that offers ample opportunity to expand your skillset. You’ll help to ensure that team leaders in management and implementation activities work closely together, help to drive risk management in the company, manage costs and much more.

This role suits someone with experience using the ITIL Framework, and possibly a qualification. It’s for someone with good attention to detail and communication who can make sure that every member of the team us following processes and doing what they are supposed to be doing.

 

You will:

·         Drive and implement the strategic direction of the IT Operations team

·         Manage business activities and budgets and the technical efforts of the team

·         Ensure that cost management policies and procedures are followed

·         Take charge of risk management procedures

·         Liaise with the Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure, ensuring all parties are informed and issues are escalated appropriately

·         Manage report structures, utilising existing and implementing enhancements

 

Experience:

·         Exposure to the ITIL Framework

·         Managerial experience a plus

 

Salary / Remuneration:

EUR 40,000 – 50,000
